What was this project Throughout the course of this unit, we were asked to code a song of our choice with that, we created a robot art show, where we display our finished work. Our next plan of action was to create a grid, able to power novato. It was important that our design would include a self sustaining micro grid.
Purpose of the robot art show As we become a more technologically run society, its important to be able to understand the inner workings of what we see to be so simple. Every computer or electronic devise requires a certain amount of detailed coding. We worked through some of the basics of coding and in turn learned a lot of really helpful information. We mainly focused our work on the arduino board, going through different programs, until we became comfortable with the material. With information provided to us by the arduino programming kit, we could begin programing our song.
What was the power Novato project With this assignment, we were asked to create a self-sufficient power grid. We began this project by creating a wind propeller, which gave us more of an understanding for what we were working with. we then visited a farm in Sonoma that is 100% self-sustaining. While we were there, we looked at many different power sources. After returning from the farm, we were now able to successfully form a power grid. My group decided to power San Marin rather than all of Novato.
concepts
Comumbs law - relationship between charges that find the forces of attraction and repulsion. Unit - newtons, comumbs
Voltage - the difference in PE from two different sides of the spectrum.
Circuit - a loop containing conductive materials, that joins a positive and negative charge.
resistance - amount of resistance toward the current.
Series circuit - a circuit in which resistors and or components are in a single loop.
Power - the rate of of electrical energy in a circuit.
Parallel circuit - a circuit where resistors and or components are of separate paths.

I was really blessed with a great group of people. we worked really well together and strived through all our struggles. during this process, we had to overcome a lot of challenges. For example during our work with the arduino board, we were asked to complete multiple levels. we spent about 3 classes working on the same program and couldn't seem to crack it. my group worked tirelessly even through frustration. i think i definitely could have taken more of a lead. at certain points i would find myself not having anything to do and i would get distracted. I think i did a really good job being a team player. overall i had a really great project experience and learned a lot.
